30 weeks!

Thirty weeks and this little girl is still growing! Everything is looking perfect with her. I one the other hand have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. That has been a real eye opener. I've never been a "good" healthy eater. Especially during this pregnancy. I had been living off sugar and carbs. It has been an adjustment the last week trying to cut down my carb intake. Since I have been watching what I eat I feel so much better and have so much more energy. Hopefully things will continue to go well for the next 9 weeks, the doctor is anticipating this little girl will be over 8 pounds at birth. What in the world will I do with a baby that size? We are definitely grateful for the blessing of a more "normal" pregnancy this time and can not wait to meet this little girl (in July and no sooner). I'm still in awe over the fact that I am being blessed with another little miracle.

Awwww! The ultra sound picture makes me so happy for you! I'm sorry to hear about the gestational diabetes. I'm sure that's no fun. Btw, I would have LOVED to have an 8 pound baby. Mine was 9lbs 4oz so count your blessings if she is smaller than that! :)
