Look who's 2!

For Lila's big 2nd birthday we had all the family over for dinner. Lila was so excited to have her cousins come over. They played outside and Lila got so dirty she required a mid party bath. She was really into opening her presents this year and was super excited about all of her new Sophia toys she got. She LOVES Sophia the First and we knew it had to be the theme for her party. She was so cute when we sang happy birthday to her, she sang along. We sure love this sweet little terror and couldn't imagine life without her. Happy Birthday you little monster!

Oh my heaven she's 7!

For Eliana's 7th birthday (holy cow she's 7!) we rented out Gymnastics Unlimited. There were 2 coaches who ran everything (how great is that?). The kiddos had an hour and a half of gymnastics instruction, which included a bungee harness that they got to be strapped into, hoisted into the air, and then jump or be sling shot. They all had a blast! Of course the theme was penguin. So I made all the kids felt penguin masks. They turned out so cute and I love the picture of all her friends wearing them. I think it is safe to say that she LOVED her birthday party!

Preschool Graduate

It's hard to believe that Alexis is done with preschool and ready to start Kindergarten in the fall. We are so proud of her and all she has learned over the last two years. She has had a wonderful teacher and made lots of friends. So long preschool its been fun, kindergarten here I come!

Easter

Woodland Park Zoo

Eliana has a deep love for penguins. So when I heard that you could feed penguins at the Woodland Park Zoo I knew we had to go. Over spring break we went with our neighbor and her little boy who is Lila's age. We didn't care if we saw any other animals as long as we got to feed the penguins. I think my girls could have stayed at the penguin exhibit all day. Alexis was totally grossed out by the fact she has to touch a fish, but she toughed up and did it. Ellie was in pure heaven and so excited to feed a penguin. She was a little bummed out that she didn't get to pet one.

Alexis is 5!

Catch up time. Alexis turned 5 in February. She knew long before that she wanted a Hello Kitty party. As you can see by the pictures it was a pretty big party. She had a blast. I can't believe she is 5! Happy Birthday Alexis!

Christmas Dresses

It is no secret that I LOVE LOVE LOVE buying fancy dresses for my girls. I think they love it almost as much as I do. Theses dresses have hung in their closets for over a month and every Sunday Alexis would beg to wear hers. They were super excited to finally get to wear them.

Christmas Day

These wonderful girls blessed us with sleeping in till 8 on Christmas morning. What I wonderful treat! The excitedly made their way downstairs to open presents. Lila was not at all interested. She found her vacuum as soon as she got downstairs and only wanted to walk around vacuuming. Everyone was thrilled with their gifts. Alexis and Eliana both wanted American Girl dolls, but not the real ones. They wanted ones from Target. Eliana also got a remote control car for her littlest pet shop. Alexis got a Hello Kitty karaoke and CD player, which at times I am now regretting buying :) Lila got a ride on toy and a doll. After hanging out at home and playing with our new toys we headed to my parents house. Everyone got exactly what they were wanting and we had some very excited kiddos. While we opened present all Lila wanted to do was eat a candy cane off the tree. She was sitting with my Dad and when she finished opening a gift she would bring it over to the ottoman and push across to me. Alexis and Eliana both had their hearts set on certain things they wanted. They were a little disappointed when Santa didn't bring those items. They were SO excited when those things turned out to be what nanny and Poppy got them. Elianas was a Barbie wardrobe and Alexis was a barbie Princess and the Popstar guitar.
