A Successful Day

Many people may come into my house today and think that I didn't get anything done. It appears I was very unproductive. BUT, today my girls were fed 3 meals plus snacks, we went to swimming lessons, watched a movie, played in the back yard, snuck in a quick trip to the store for diapers, made and painted with homemade finger paint, played the piano and sang, took lots of pictures, played dress up, played with little people, jumped on the beds and took baths. Now I have two little girls tucked snuggly into bed, clothes in the drier and cinnamon rolls raising on the stove for the birthday girls breakfast tomorrow. In my book today was a success, cause in my book a clean house doesn't equal a successful and productive day.

Ellie's pictures

Ellie got her own camera for her birthday. It was one of the things she has been begging for and was so excited when she got it. Over the last two days she has taken over 200 pictures. We are having a blast looking at her pictures, it is very cute to see what she feels is important. Among the 200 have been lots of pictures of Lexie, every room in the house, her blanket, stuffed animals, doll house, herself, Mom and Dad ( which are some of the worst pictures, she always gets my back side while I'm bending over) and the T.V. Here's a little collection of what is important in Ellie's life.

The Kissing Face

I don't think I have to worry about Ellie kissing any boys as long as she makes her kissing face. She can't give a kiss right now without puckering up and making this face. But really who wouldn't want to give this cutie a kiss!

Swimming Lessons

Ellie started swimming lesson today. She was so nervous last night and wasn't sure this morning if she really wanted to go. She actually told me she wasn't leaving the house today. Once we got there and the teacher introduced herself Ellie was excited. She listened to the rules and then hopped right in and didn't have a single problem. I was such a proud Momma today!
