Pony tails

Lexie had her first pony tail today. I have been waiting a very long time to be able to do something with Lexie's hair. It was a stretch I admit to get a pony out of her hair. It was very little and half of it was elastic. It is just one of the things I love about being the Mom to girls. Pony tails, hair bows, painted nails, dresses, ruffly socks, patent leather shoes, the color pink, oh how I love having girls!

Once There Was A Snowman

Ellie and Nick went out today to play in the snow. Ellie got to build her first snowman ( She later named him Chester).

Was mad she didn't get to go out and play in the snow.

Why Oh Why...

Won't she sleep in her crib? We bought a second crib last year for Alexis. She loves to play in it, she will not sleep in it. She stands up and screams as if someone was hurting her if I put her in there at bed time. She would much rather sleep in the porta-crib. I never thought it would be such a challenge to get the girls to share a room. Lexie really needs to move out of the closet and into her crib! Anyone have any wonderful advise to share? I think I need to write Super Nanny, maybe she can teach my girls to share a room.

Girls New Toy

A wonderful person in our ward gave our girls a kitchen set. It was her daughters and she outgrew it. I don't think they have played with much else since they got it. A huge thank you Emily and Addie! It was so generous and thoughful of you. They love it and tell everyone to come over and see it.

Taking a sick day

I should really say a sick two weeks. We have had colds, ear infections, and the stomach flu all at the same time. I am very grateful everyone is better now and that is over! Neither of the girls had much energy and they just laid around watching T.V. I made them a bed on the couch. It was cute to see them together sitting there watching Caillou. (Although I have to admit I am really tired fo watching Caillou now)

1 Year Pictures

I love the pictures we got taken for Alexis' one year pics. The quality of these aren't as clear as they could be. My scanner isn't working so I just took a picture of the picture, that's why they look a little blurry.
