Track Star

Our school district does elementary track, for all ages. Since it was a free activity that didn't require much committment, we convinced Ellie that she should do it. She is so funny about new things, she was so nervous. Thy divided them up by grade and gender. There were 3 events, long jump, softball throw and 50 meter run. She did fine on the first two events (standing long jump and softball throw) then came the 50 meter. She ran her little heart out. For a good portion of te race she was in first place. She finished in 3rd. Which was pretty awesome. We couldn't be more proud of her!

Shopping List

This paper makes me so proud of my sweet Ellie. Writing has been a struggle for her, since she has some motor skill delays. Up till now I have never seen her write any words that I could actually decifer. Today she came home with a shopping list she made. She copied the words off the boxes of things at school. While her handwriting is still really hard to read she has made so much improvement this year.

honey crunch
applesauce
season
cocoa puffs
kix
waffles
macaroni cheese
oreo
(i have no idea)
dove men

This is my baby

This is my baby...
This is my baby on drugs (amoxicillin). Any questions?
Poor girl has developed an allergy to amoxicillin. We had to give her benadryl, she promptly passed out.
