Bath Time

Eliana and Alexis love nothing more than taking a bath. If they hear the bath water running they come running into the bathroom. They were just being so cute the other day I had to take some pictures to share. Ellie has started "swimming" in the tub. All she does is lay down but she says she's swimming. She always sings to herself while her ear are under the water. Lexie was eating her duck. She had the head of it so far in her mouth she actually gagged. her favorite thing to do in the tub in lean down into the water and drink it. Everytime she does it she makes sure I'm watching. When I say no she does it again and then laughs. Little stinker.

Ellie's braids

Ellie has become obsessed with braids lately. She saw a little girl she knows while playing a few dasy ago. She had her hair in two braids. The next morning Ellie informed me while doing her hair that she wanted to braids like her friends. She looked so cute and so grown up.

When Daddy's Away.....

The girls will play! I needed to keep the girls busy for awhile so I could get some chores done. They love to get out the crib mattresses and jump. Nick doesn't like it when I let them do this. Since he was gone all day with school and work I decided it would be a great time to do it. I got out both of their mattresses out and they played for what seemed like hours. Lexie loves to get up on them but most of the time just falls right back off. I was watching her one time when she fell off with a doll in her arms. She got back up on the mattress, still holding the doll and made sure she was far enough of way from the edge. She kept looking behind her and ten scooting further over. It was so cute to watch and I'm gad that I found something that can buy me some time that they love so much.

11 Months

It's hard to believe that Lexie is already 11 months old. She is contiuing to change everyday. She is starting to talk more. She now says dada, nana (which is both grandma and banana), hi, something that sounds like Ellie and finally has said mama. Her biggest change this month is that she has started to walk. She has taken about 10 steps across the room and then sat down where she wanted to be. About half of the time yesterday when I put her down she would walk. She is still very shaky and unsure of herself but it won't be long before she is cruising all over the house. Heaven help me when that happens. I'm not sure I can handle both of these carzy girls being mobile! It is a bittersweet moment for me. I'm really excited that she is hitting all her milestone right on, but sad that she is growing up so quickly. Happy 11 months Lex.

A Village People New Years

Viewers beware! Nick and his brothers like to have a theme to dress up as for Christmas. This year it was A Village People Christmas. I have to say i woould rather have this than last years cheesey mustache contest wich included really ugly sweaters as well. I think the pictures say it best.
